ABOUT
Robert was born and raised in Garner, North Carolina and began playing guitar at 15 years old. Robert attended Appalachian State University and obtained his Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice. While at ASU, Robert began playing at local college bars and quickly realized his passion for music runs deep. As an artist Robert is heavily influenced by Country music, while incorporating a rock-n-roll edge as the lead singer of local band Real Rowdy. Robert has lit up venues across North Carolina making an appearance at the Carolina Country Music Festival in Myrtle Beach, SC and has opened for artists such as Blackberry Smoke, Mitchell Tenpenny, Meghan Patrick, Chayce Beckham and Randall King. Robert took a chance and turned chairs becoming a proud member of the first ever Team Kelsea Ballerini on season 27 of NBC's The Voice!
